Autism Acceptance Day Celebration at Coliseum Caterers – Next Level Café
On Wednesday, April 2nd, participants from Life’s WORC programs and Next Level constituents came together for a heartfelt celebration of World Autism Acceptance Day at the Next Level Café, generously hosted by Coliseum Caterers.
The event, led by John Murn, President of Next Level and a dedicated Life’s WORC Board member, was all about connection, acceptance, and recognizing the strengths and contributions of individuals with autism.
It was especially meaningful to have a few of our programs come out to support the event, including our SEMP and Pre Voc programs, along with a couple of our residents, who were proud to be part of the celebration. Their presence added so much energy and joy to the day and reminded us all why creating a sense of belonging matters.
Board members Ed O’Donnell and Board Chair Vanessa Rogan were also in attendance, showing just how deeply committed Life’s WORC is to building real opportunities for people with autism and developmental disabilities.
John Murn has long supported meaningful employment opportunities for all, and his leadership at Next Level continues to open doors for individuals seeking both personal and professional growth. His dedication goes far beyond the workplace—he’s helping shape a community where everyone has a place.
Events like this are a powerful reminder of what can happen when organizations and businesses work together with a shared purpose. Thanks to John, Next Level, and everyone who participated, this year’s World Autism Acceptance Day wasn’t just an event—it was a celebration of possibility, progress, and the power of community. Join Life’s WORC in taking it to the Next Level!
