On Friday, April 1, 2022, Life’s WORC celebrated its 50th Anniversary at the Celebrate 50! Gala at the Garden City Hotel.
To commemorate the organization’s incredible history, the Gala honored Life’s WORC Founder, Victoria Schneps-Yunis, and television reporter Geraldo Rivera, whose investigative journalism helped lead to the closing of the Willowbrook School and ultimately the creation of Life’s WORC. Keynote speaker Bill O’Reilly shared his sentiments and congratulations, along with esteemed guests, board members, staff, family members and supporters.
A tremendous thank you to our sponsors, whose generosity will make a difference in the lives of the more than 1,500 people we support, and to everyone who came out to support this incredibly special event. Thank you to the staff and board who worked tirelessly to bring this event to fruition. We can’t wait until next year’s event!
Thank you to ABC 7 New York for your feature on Victoria and Life’s WORC.
