On October 2 & 3, 2021, Life’s WORC employees and team Captain Maria Manato, from our finance department, and Co-Captain Jeffrey Perez, Director of Quality Management, participated in Bike to the Beach, New York Ride for Autism & Disabilities. This bike ride from Manhattan to Long Island included over 400 riders who rode one of three routes: 100 miles Manhattan to Smith Point, 50 miles Wantagh to Smith Point or 25 miles Blue Point to Smith Point. The event raises money for area organizations that offer services and support to people with autism and other disabilities, including Life’s WORC.

In addition, Life’s WORC Director of Development Tina Moreno and volunteers co-hosted a rest stop along the route, with food generously provided by Felico’s Catering.
