Life’s WORC Celebrates Manager’s Bootcamp Graduates

On February 5, 2025, Life’s WORC celebrated the Graduation of our Residential & Day Habilitation Management from “Manager’s Bootcamp.”

Manager’s Bootcamp is an ongoing training program designed by the Training Department and Senior Leadership to give our management teams an intensive six-session refresher and skill polisher on key areas for their programs. These sessions consisted of learning, practical application, and an opportunity for the managers to network and learn from each other as well as leadership from all areas of the organization.

The gratuation session was an opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of more than 30 dedicated managers who were able to navigate the difficult task of overcoming staffing and program challenges to attend a full-day session each month, traveling in from all over NYC, Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens. Everyone came to these sessions ready to learn and committed themselves to actively participating and sharing at every session.

Bootcamp was an initiative created by our training department to provide additional support and tools to assist managers by providing them with the opportunity to enhance their skills while collaborating with their colleagues. In addition, leadership was available to motivate and encourage their teams and create a culture of growth.

The graduates participated in seven sessions, and should be applauded for their dedication, hard work and commitment to success. This accomplishment is a clear reflection of their perseverance and we are confident that it will lead to greater success, both personally and professionally.
