Life’s WORC Partners with Star Subaru for Operation Warm

Life’s WORC was thrilled to partner once again with Star Subaru for Operation Warm, distributing winter coats to those in need. Star Subaru and the Koufakis family generously donated 500 coats that were given to people within the community – not just Life’s WORC but foster homes, school districts and other organizations – in need of warm winter clothing.

Staffed by volunteers from both Life’s WORC and Star Subaru, coat donation events were held at both business locations and coat deliveries were made to local organizations including Afro American Parents Educational Center Inc. and the Academy Charter School in Wyandanch.

Thank you to Board Chair Lynne Koufakis and to all of those who coordinated to make this possible.
