Everyone Can Recharge & Have Fun With Respite Care & Family Support

Life’s WORC Respite & Family Support services are designed to provide a fun and engaging environment for children, teens, and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. For the duration of the program (typically between 2 and 5 hours depending on the program), their family members and caregivers can enjoy a period of relaxation knowing their loved one is being cared for by well-trained and professional staff. Recreational and socially-focused programs are a great way for your loved one to enjoy fun activities and have the opportunity to make friends in a relaxed setting. Our respite programs are located in Queens, Suffolk, and Nassau counties and are funded through OPWDD with a waiver and non-waiver options available.
