The People of Life’s WORC – Peter Klein and Chris Murray

Today Life’s WORC and the Family Center for Autism will celebrate 50 years of Life’s WORC at the 33rdAnnual Geraldo Rivera Golf Classic.

Each year we honor people who have truly made a difference at Life’s WORC, and this year we are proud to recognize Board Members Peter Klein and Chris Murray for their unwavering support and dedication to the agency.

Peter J. Klein, CFA®, CRPS®, CAP® is the Chief Investment Officer and Founder of ALINE Wealth and President of the Claire Friedlander Family Foundation. He has built his career around the analytics and science of investing. Peter works to help clients align their finances with their values through philanthropy, navigating clients through family trusts, institutions, and non-profits.

Peter joined the Life’s WORC Board of Directors in 2014, volunteering his time and efforts to many agency initiatives, most notably by partnering the Claire Friedlander Family Foundation with Life’s WORC for the annual essay contest, designed to raise awareness and acceptance of those with disabilities among high school students and promote an anti-bullying message.

Christopher (Chris) Murray, Esq., is a Partner in the Litigation Department at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., and Chair of their Environmental and Land Use Practice Group. He has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of complex commercial, environmental, real estate, insurance, brokerage commission, employment, civil rights, anti- trust and trademark litigation; as well as commercial real estate and business transactions.

Chris joined our Board of Directors a few years ago has been committed to helping the agency fulfill its mission through various programs and events right from the beginning. Chris has dedicated himself to several charitable organizations to help support people, students and businesses throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, as well as the Citizens Campaign for the Environment.

We would like to thank Peter and Chris for their dedication and passion for making a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. We are grateful for their support.
